@ 123. Posted bySirregon"I am not sure where this anti-Carter rhetoric is coming from but it’s making me angry ..."He's a supporter of Katie Hopkins - surely that's enough to make people dislike him? Oh, and he's an arrogant cheat.
@150 KzinnI stand completely corrected!!I've been watching (and playing) this sport for that many years and always heard it as precisional, not positional as you've suggested, which would of course, make plenty of sense!!I will book an appointment with the Otolaryngologist immediately!!!

I loved it when the cheater missed on a yellow. Well done Mister Bingham!
Great coverage from the BBC as usual. Keep up the good work.
Watching snooker on the BBC today is like watching a slow, tense, and intriguing film on DVD but with an extremely wordy and boring director's commentary jammed on. Why do the commentators just NEVER stop talking? Why do we need their opinion on absolutely every shot? Why do we need their inane chat? You don't get the atmosphere from the event, you get the atmosphere of a daytime TV chat show.
Thank god they got a proper strong ref for the final!
This final was a battle of the Mr Men; Mr Happy versus Mr ANGRY!! There's a lesson for all of us here, be happy, and not ANGRY, and you'll win something!
Vikram 19They’d all have to pull out for Arsenal to win!! Great final to watch and so pleased when someone considered a journeyman wins.
@150 KzinnLOL...spot on sir!!
Ronnie would have found the whoopee cushion incident funny !!!....The commentators being appalled made it even funnier . Well done whoever it was that planted it. Snooker on TV needs something or someone to liven it up a bit
