Speedway: King's Lynn Stars hand berth to Kyle Howarth
King's Lynn Stars have signed British youngster Kyle Howarth in a shake-up of their team following Friday's double derby defeat by Peterborough Panthers.
Howarth, 18, will double-up alongside Dakota North at number seven, sharing his rides with current club Workington.
Czech Filip Sitera has been pulled from the squad after scoring one point in the two defeats by their local rivals.
"I have known Kyle for a few years and have been pleased to see the progress he has made," said boss Rob Lyon.
"He has had some big scores in the Premier League with Workington this season and when called upon I am sure he will do a good job for the Stars."
Former Scunthorpe and Bournemouth rider Howarth, who will be available for Friday's trip to Coventry, has scored double figures in three of Workington's four meetings this season.
The reshuffle is completed by Michael Palm Toft shifting to number eight.
