Plymouth Devils climbed off the bottom of the Premier League after a 51-39 win over Leicester at St Boniface Arena.
It was a solid performance by the Devils with Ryan Fisher (12+1) and skipper Ben Barker (11+1) top scoring.
Fisher smashed the track record in heat seven with a time of 48.06 seconds, a massive 1.44 seconds quicker than the previous record held by Barker.
The meeting started fairly evenly with just two points between the teams after five races.
The home side then took a stranglehold of the match with three consecutive heat advantages to open up a 12-point lead which they never relinquished.
Devils' second league win of the season moves them up three places to tenth in the table.
Plymouth's match away at Workington on Saturday was postponed due to a waterlogged track.
