Plymouth Devils team manager Lee Trigger is hopeful that his new-look side can make the top six and secure a play-off spot this season.
and Trigger is happy with the shape of the side.
"We've got a good mixture of Elite and Premier League riders and a balance of youth and experience," he said.
"I want us to be top six at least and that's the aim."
Plymouth have finished second-bottom and bottom in their two seasons in the Premier League so far and Trigger thinks confidence is the key to better results.
"We need to start well to give the boys confidence, in the past we've been looking up at others from very early in the season.
"Injuries can be cruel but if we finish with the same seven that start the season we'll be up there, it will be interesting to see what the experts say in their predictions.
"We should be stronger on the road this year which will help and I want us to pick up at least a point at every track."
Trigger has also been delighted with the response from supporters to the takeover that saw a

"It's a new era, a new enthusiasm and maybe a new venue in the future, it's very exciting."
