Ben Barker, Rasmus Jensen and Kyle Newman hit double figures as Plymouth Devils recorded a comfortable 55-40 victory over Scunthorpe.

After a topsy-turvy start, Plymouth led by four points after five races and then won the next five in a row.

Nicolai Klindt gave the visitors hope with a tactical win in heat 11, but Barker and Jensen combined for 5-1's in heats 13 and 15 to round off the win.

Plymouth's weekend ended on a low after they lost 49-40 at Rye House Rockets.

Barker (14+1) produced a faultless unbeaten display for Plymouth and they led 8-4 after two races, but the fast-gating Rockets turned it around to lead by eight after heat 10.

Plymouth had won on their previous three visits to Herfordshire, but this time the deficit proved unassailable.

The defeat was compounded by injuries to Adam Roynon and Kalle Katajisto, but both hope to be fit for the Devils weekend clash with Berwick.
