Poole Pirates captain Maciej Janowski believes their Elite League play-off semi-final against King's Lynn should have been stopped because of rain.
They beat the Stars 47-43 in the second leg to secure a 92-87 aggregate win, the fixture having been postponed on three previous occasions.
"In my opinion, it should have possibly been stopped," 23-year-old Janowski told BBC Radio Solent.
"They were not good conditions for us to ride in."
Poole will now face Coventry Bees in the final, with the away leg on Friday, followed by the return on Monday.
And although team manager Neil Middleditch agreed with Janowski's assessment of conditions against King's Lynn, he said they now needed to focus on the task ahead.
"Luckily we got through half the race meeting in good weather conditions before the rain came down," he added.
"We had to get this meeting done, the King's Lynn boys wanted to keep going so we did.
"Coventry are a tough side and that is why they are in the final, but we go in there to win."
