Belle Vue Aces have appointed former rider Mark Lemon as their new team manager, replacing Jason Attwood.
The 41-year-old Australian retired at the end of last season after a 25-year racing career, including a campaign at the Aces in 2004-05.
Lemon will combine the role with his duties as manager of Australia's World Cup squad.
"I believe I can bring a quality that can help influence the riders and promote good performances," said Lemon.
"I've ridden for the Aces a few times over the years so I'm already quite familiar with the set up, although there's a few things I'll be looking to fine tune and tweak in order to get the best results."
The Manchester-based club struggled in the Elite League last season, finishing second bottom.
