Jack Turvey comes third in England Squash Championships


Guernsey youngster Jack Turvey produced an impressive performance to finish third at the inaugural England Under-11 squash championships.

Turvey was the tournament's number two seed, but fell to the unseeded Jack Mitterer in the last four.

The Sarnian bounced back to beat Jared Carter in the third-place play-off, winning 11-7 11-9 11-7.

The final was won by Middlesex's Oscar Khoo who overcame Mitterer 11-3 2-11 9-11 2-11.
