France win their first gold at the swimming World Championships after Camille Lacourt and Jeremy Stravius share gold in the 100m backstroke.

The team-mates clocked the same time of 52.76secs in an extraordinary finish in Shanghai.

Britain's Liam Tancock was in contention for bronze but touched home sixth, with Japan's Ryosuke Irie finishing third.
