Swimmer Grant Halsall says it is 'extra special' to win medals representing the Isle of Man after winning three at the Commonwealth Youth Games.
The 18-year-old won silver in both the 200m and 50m back-stroke races and bronze in his favoured 100m race.
"You don't get many chances to represent your home country and it's brilliant to do well," he said.
Halsall's silver in the 200m back-stroke was the island's first ever Commonwealth Youth Games medal.
New Zealand's Corey Main won gold in all three back-stroke events at the National Sports Centre in Douglas.
Meanwhile, Reagan Dee finished third in the women's high-jump final with a height of 1.65m.
