Fina World Cup: Fran Halsall adds to medal haul in Tokyo
Fran Halsall claimed two more medals and another British record on the second and final day of the Fina World Cup in Tokyo.
The double Commonwealth champion won her third gold medal on Wednesday in the 100m freestyle.
The 24-year-old also took silver in the 50m butterfly in a new British record time of 25.29 seconds.
Halsall won gold in the 50m backstroke and freestyle - and set a British 50m backstroke record - on the opening day.
There was further British medal success for Georgia Davies, who lowered the Welsh record to 57:06 in securing 100m backstroke silver, and Siobhan-Marie O'Connor, who took bronze in the 100m individual medley.
It was the second medal of the World Cup for O'Connor, who earned a bronze in the 200m individual medley on the the opening day.
James Guy was another opening-day winner, securing silver in the 400m freestyle.
The final leg of the Fina World Cup series takes place in Singapore on 1-2 November.
