From chemical engineer to Rio 2016?
- From the section Taekwondo
Henry Cookey tells BBC North West Tonight how he quit his job as a chemical engineer to try to compete in taekwondo at the 2016 Olympics in Rio.
The Liverpool-based fighter, whose sister Pamela Cookey recently competed for England at the Netball World Cup, has to keep to a tight budget to fund his dream since leaving his job.
He says watching taekwondo at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing inspired him to take up the sport after growing up learning martial arts.
