Heather Watson is through to the quarter-finals of the Bell Challenge in Quebec after beating Sweden's Sophia Arvidsson in straight sets.
The 19-year-old from Guernsey won the second round match 7-5 6-3 in an hour and 35 minutes.
The British number three will play third seed Tamira Paszek in the last eight in Quebec City.
The Austrian won two tie-breaks as she battled past the USA's Varvara Lepchenko 6-7 (2/7) 6-3 7-6 (7/4).
