The pair lost 4-6 6-3 13-11 to Raquel Kops-Jones and Abigail Spears.
Top seeds Kops-Jones and Spears went on to take the doubles title, beating Jamie Hampton and Anna Tatishvili 6-1 3-6 10-6 in the final.
