Heather Watson through to last eight in Shrewsbury

Watson is ranked 113 places higher than her quarter-final opponent Naomi Broady

Guernsey's Heather Watson is through to the quarter-finals of the AEGON GB Pro-Series event in Shrewsbury.

The 19-year-old, who has reclaimed her place as beat fellow British qualifier Tara Moore 6-2, 6-2 in the second round.

She will face another Briton, Naomi Broady in the last eight.

The 21-year-old, who has lost the only meeting between the pair, beat France's Claire Feuerstein 6-3, 6-1 in her second round match.
