World number one Caroline Wozniacki expects to be fit for the Australian Open despite suffering a wrist injury at the Sydney International.
The Dane's wrist was strapped in the last set as she faded to a 3-6 7-5 6-2 last-eight loss to Agnieszka Radwanska.
"Caroline had an MRI scan [on Thursday morning] and it proved clear," said a WTA official.
"It is inflamed and she has been told to ice the wrist and rest it and she expects to play in Melbourne."
The 21-year-old retained her place at the top of the women's rankings after Petra Kvitova lost in the semi-finals in Sydney.
