Colin Fleming and Ross Hutchins moved into round three of the Australian Open doubles after outclassing Russian pair Alex Bogomolov Jr and Igor Kunitsyn.
The British duo completed a near-faultless first set in 21 minutes and went on to win 6-0 6-3.
They next play top seeds Bob and Mike Bryan, who beat Australians Lleyton Hewitt and Peter Luczak 6-3 7-6 (7-5).
Jamie Murray and Peng Shuai lost 3-6 7-5 (10-5) to Mariusz Fyrstenberg and Abigail Spears in the mixed doubles.
"It was a strong performance and a great victory," Fleming told BBC Radio 5 live.
"We've done well in Grand Slams and have high expectations but it's still nice to be in third round."
Hutchins added: "We've been playing together for a year now and it takes time. Some partnerships gel very quickly, we took our time but we feel really good now.
"We're happy, comfortable on court, enjoy travelling together and we're good friends. Hopefully it can be a successful partnership."
