Djokovic praises Murray mentality

Defending champion Novak Djokovic believes Andy Murray has improved "mentally" ahead of their US Open final.

The Serb is critical of the "ridiculous" practice of playing the semi-final and final on consecutive days over the final weekend, unlike the Friday and Sunday schedule used in the other three majors.

Djokovic, who has not lost a Grand Slam hard court game since the 2010 US Open, seeks his second US Open and his sixth career Grand Slam title.
