261. ktiwari69+++MANY A TRUE WORD SPOKEN IN JEST, HIS ANTI-ENGLISH COMMENTS ARE WELL DOCUMENTED.
NN6,I can't really say which he would choose, because I don't know the man personally. I'm 99.999999% sure you don't know him personally either, so you can't assume based on something that he said out of jest a very long time ago.Never heard of any "anti-English rants" coming from Andy Murray, so unless you can provide proof to those, that statement is invalid.
257. ktiwari69 +++Yes but if you said to him it was one or the other, what do you think he would chose?

Name Number 6,Yeah, he's Scottish, but I'm pretty sure he has a British passport. If you can't be British and Scottish at the same time, then your way of thinking also says that you cannot be English and British at the same time.I'm English and I'm British because England is part of the British Isles.Murray is Scottish and he's is also British because Scotland is part of the British Isles.
254. Murmur71BEST BRITISH/SCOTTISH tennis players of all time.+++Apart from the absurdity of that statement you can't be both, I think Murray's anti-English rants prove he is Scottish.
El Chavo,Murray actually does win things, he's won 24 professional tour titles. One of them is a major title, so according to you he's won 23 Sunday league trophies.Federer, he's won 76 tour titles. 17 of them majors, and just for you, 6 World Tour Finals. That means Federer, in your eyes, has won 53 Sunday league titles. You wanna go tell him that?
What is the point of all the whinging about Andy Murray ? ? ? It only shows how some sad individuals are so dissatisfied with there own life, they have to complain about one of the BEST BRITISH/SCOTTISH tennis players of all time. To each and every one of you who post negative comments, perhaps you should maybe stop mouthing off simply because you don't have anything better to do! GET A LIFE!
@252 Name Number 6Excellent points, you are most knowledgable about Tennis.Fordham a true British legend, wouldn't find him coming out with disparaging remarks aimed at provoking other countries.Yes Murray's speciality is winning these Sunday league trophies, it's unfortunate the BBC are reporting them so often, it gives the impression Murray is winning things.
251. El chavo del 8No questions about Andy Fordham's nationality, proper Englishman. In one small way I suppose Murray's puzzling rise to the top has shown most people in this country that tennis is played rather more often than 2 weeks at Wimbledon every year.
When I first saw this article I thought it said Murray had been "walked over". I was hoping to read it was by an Elephant, a Rhinoceros or even Andy Fordham. Then I realised my mistake.
