Croatia have chosen to play September's crucial Davis Cup play-off against Great Britain on outdoor clay in Umag.

Dan Evans, James Ward, Colin Fleming and Jonny Marray secured the play-off with a in March.

Marin Cilic is Croatia's top player at 11 in the world, with Ivan Dodig ranked 56th.

The tie will begin just four days after the US Open final on hard courts in New York, in which Murray will hope to be defending his maiden Grand Slam title.
