Johanna Konta lost to Maria Sharapova in the first round at Wimbledon

Britons Kyle Edmund and Johanna Konta both won titles on Sunday to move closer to the top 100 in the men's and women's rankings respectively.

Edmund, who went up 10 places to 103, beat American Bjorn Fratangelo 6-2 6-3 to win the Binghamton Challenger in New York.

Konta won the Granby National Bank Challenger in Canada, overcoming France's Stephanie Foretz 6-2 6-4.

The 24-year-old moved up to 113 from 126 in the rankings on Monday.
