Aljaz Bedene: Gilles Muller knocks Briton out of Moselle Open
British number two Aljaz Bedene was knocked out of the Moselle Open after a first-round loss to Gilles Muller.
Bedene, 26, was beaten in straight sets 6-3, 6-4 after Luxembourger opponent Muller made 20 aces in the match.
Muller, 32, also converted three breaks points to progress at the indoor hard court event in Metz, France.
Slovenia-born Bedene, ranked number 55 in the world, switched allegiances to Britain in March this year after being granted a UK passport.
