Nice one Russell. Murray (at the time of writing) is 1-2 down in sets at RG. Amazing how you hack-writers get a platform to talk with absolutely no meaning.
And what about young Kyle Edmund, keeps his 100% record intact at Roland Garros. If anyone is king of clay at the moment it's him. King of Paris anyway.
Such a silly article, he has a good chance to win and good form, but he's never gonna win 9 times.
Murray will of course come back to win this match but what it has demonstrated is that he will not be the new King of Clay. Stepanek is a tricky player but not one that should be causing the likes of Murray this much trouble.
Come on Andy we need you to get through to give Kei a good quarter final
"French Open: Could Andy Murray be the new King of Clay?"Is this headline the Sports equivalent of Britains Got Talent?Britains Got Talent? No, It ****ing Has Not.
Murray can win this tournament. Go Andy.
Stepenek might beat him and he's 37?
Coronation Street not on until 9pm tonight, so he should just make it !!
2 sets down now....looks like the "new King" is going to miss his coronation.
LOL The new King Of Clay a set and a break down to a 37 year old qualifier, who spent most of 2015 on crutches, in the first roundnot looking like he knows what to do either, massive upset imminent
Must just say how refreshing the ITV coverage of the tennis is: straightforward, minimal waffling by overpaid 'experts', stays on one channel, and most importantly FREE!
Stan safely through after the expected first round battle so now he can have a well earned rest. Kei through in nice straight sets too.
It doesn't say,Murray is the new king of clay or say, Murray will be the new king of clay, it says, Could Murray be the new King of Clay? Depends on the definition, if it means the best at the moment it could happen, if it means totally dominant and untouchable for years on end, then no. But please remember, the article doesn't say he is or that is going to be, so no need for all the BBC bashing.
