Britain's Johanna Konta has beaten France's Caroline Garcia 6-2 6-2 to reach the semi-finals of the WTA Elite Trophy in Zhuhai, China.
The 25-year-old will face Ukraine's Elina Svitolina in the last four after winning in exactly one hour.
Czech Republic's two-time Wimbledon champion Petra Kvitova takes on China's Zhang Shuai in the other semi-final.
"I felt I played a very consistent match. I didn't give her many windows [of opportunity]," said Konta.
The tournament features the leading 12 players who did not qualify for last week's WTA Finals in Singapore.
The players were divided into four pools of three, with the group winners qualifying for the semi-finals.
