I agree Los Catrachos. He is great to watch. He also has great hands for a power player. However over 5 sets might get worn down by Nadal or Djokovic. It must be tough to move that huge frame so fast for so long! Really hope he wins more tournaments.
would love to see Del Potro win another slam, hard to believe that a player of his talent only has one slam to his name so far. a shame that injury issues seem to have hindered his career. fingers crossed for him.
@10 - I pay around that for Sky, when I had the sports and HD channels etc (no movies) it was around £120/month.
.... per month of course.
Tennis is doing itself a disservice by allowing just Amazon to show US Open.Sky Sports up until about a year ago had all the tennis, both men and women, all the slams and most ATP events. Now probably no tennis.Just wondering how much people are paying for Sky with sports (no movies).I'm paying about £65 for the TV + extra for broadband and landline.Would love to hear many replies.
Well done Juan Martin, finally made it on to the BBC Tennis pages despite hardly a mention throughout the competition and pulling the early evening commentary last night on 5 Live Sports Xtra . There are other tennis heros than Federer, Nadal and Djokovic.
Great to see Delpo back in the latter stages of the US Open, and back near the top of the world rankings. Such a shame to have lost so many years to injury. How I've missed that brutal, caveman forehand.
I'd move the 'Tennis' section to 'All Sport' to reflect it's importance.
Would be awesome to see DelPo win one more. He deserves more than one for the talent and great attitude.
Good to see Del Potro back on form again. He deserves to win at least another slam for the perseverence he has shown. Sorry for Isner though, I like him too.
Great entertainment by these 2 players. Williams screams her way to a win in 2 sets of tedious tennis. Equal pay for equal work? You cannot be serious.
Well played Delpo, can he do another 2009? I would love to see him lift the US Open again.
Good old Frankedstein
Gutted for John, crowd were a disgrace could hardly hear them cheer their man when he needed that boost. I’ve heard Wimbledon croweds that were more patriotism
