@49Usual bitter nonsense from you, he wasn't sent off to the Spanish Tennis Federation. He went to a tennis academy in Spain, after the LTA had wasted the 2 yes that Jamie was with them. Jo Konta attended the same academy. . Djokovic was in a tennis academy in Germany from the age of 12 onwards.
50 in this respect no as the anti Murray comments are contrived and deliberately provocative hoping to get the kind of response 43 has given and he or she has walked straight into it allowing even more anti Murray comments so they are actually being counter productive so no, ignoring is the correct response in my opinion but it HYS so can do what you want
roland garros 2016-2018 -rodger the dodger
He wont win the title but just being there playing winning a few rounds is special ,enjoy him while you can as there are few players even half as gifted as him.
38. It literally was straight sets.
47. d3lpmdc3“Most people ignore comments they don't like but you feel a need for your irrelevant moral crusade”If you behaved in a way which irritated a lot of people, wouldn’t you prefer to be told? So that you can adapt your behaviour and relieve the irritation from those you affect? Surely you wouldn’t want to be ignored as you suggest, thereby being spoken about and widely avoided?
Cue all the Andy"rose tinted"Murray lovers on here with their nasty comments, but the facts remain; RF, RN & ND are the true greats of the modern era & they are still all going!AM was a very good player no doubting that; though he should be given the privilege of not having to worry about anything but playing tennis; being sent off to the Spanish Tennis Federation (partly paid for by GB Tennis)
@45 I think that your comment is a little brave to say the least; AM is not the greatest British sportsman of all time, he isn't event he greatest British Tennis player of all time - that's accolade goes to Fred Perry! AM was a very good tennis player - not a GOAT as he never won enough slams; & has the same as Wawrinka & would anyone class him as a GOAT?? AM was good at what he was bred to do!
46 but by saying mine is 'not the only comment' you are implicating me anyway, furthermore you are guilty of hypocrisy because your post has no bearing on the topic either. Most people ignore comments they don't like but you feel a need for your irrelevant moral crusade; you are like someone who will 'reply all' to a company chain email and says 'please don't copy me in'
@ 45 Yours was not the only comment and I wasnt targeting anybody in specific
43 I was not having a go at Murray at all, he is a great champion and best sportsman Great Britain have ever produced; if you actually think about what I have written you'll realise the BBC are my target
32. sorrysorrysorry“Ping Pong Ping Pong Ping Pong Ping Pong..........................Ping PongGod, it is sooooooooo boring”Whereas of course your brain output isn’t boring at all. Certainly not sooooooo boring, oh no. You clearly have unresolved *issues*
It amazes me that so many so called fans take this opportunity to have a go at Murray, it has absolutely no bearing to this article. The man has a career ending injury, leave it already.
36 I would rather have a HYS on an actual tennis match then on Djokovic's childhood or Andy seen walking his dogs; it is the sports section after all.
Thought Federer looked good (apart from his dodgy brown shirt). He won’t win the tournament, but his form since the Australian Open bodes well for Wimbledon.
