Northern Ireland triathlete Aileen Reid had to settle for disappointing 39th place in the World Triathlon Series round in Edmonton.
Reid, 33, finished almost five minutes behind the winner, Great Britain's Vicky Holland, in a time of 1 hour three minutes and 41 seconds.
Bermuda's Flora Duffy was second, with Australian Gillian Blackhouse third.
Reid now lies 11th in the overall standings, ahead of the final event in Chicago in two weeks' time.
The Derry girl had to settle for 27th position in the ITU Olympic dress rehearsal in Rio at the start of August.
