Masters 2013: Jamie Donaldson & Ian Woosnam fail to make cut

Masters 2013: Jamie Donaldson fires hole-in-one at Augusta

No Welsh golfers remain in the Masters in Augusta after Jamie Donaldson and Ian Woosnam missed the cut.

Donaldson finished five over after the second round and missed the cut by one shot.

Woosnam, the 1991 champion and playing in his 25th Masters, carded a second round score of 78 to finish on 14 over.

Donaldson, who hit a hole on one in an opening round 74, posted 75 on the second day.

"I just looked at the scores before and realised Jason Day made a birdie towards the end which knocked out all the five [over pars] which was a shame," said Donaldson, who hit three birdies during the last four holes.

"You simply need to play better golf to make sure not only you're well inside the cut line but you're in a position to intend to win."

Woosnam, 55, had faced an uphill struggle to make the cut after finishing the opening round on eight over.
