North Wales Crusaders crush Hemel Stags at Racecourse
North Wales Crusaders marked their return to the Racecourse after six weeks with a 44-12 hammering of Hemel Stags in Championship One.
Crusaders ran-in eight tries with Andy Moulsdale claiming three, Dave McConnell and Dave Birkett two each and Tommy Johnson crossing for one to go with his five conversions.
The victory keeps the pressure on leaders Oldham at the top of the table.
South Wales Scorpions were edged out 30-28 by the London Skolars in an 11 try thriller at the Gnoll.
The home team's tries came through Haydn Peacock, Dalton Grant, Dom Crosby, Ben Moores and George Clarke. Courtney Davies kicked four conversions.
Scorpions had a late chance to clinch victory but were denied when Peacock was hauled down just short of the line.
