Crusaders put in a stern defensive display to return to winning ways in the Championship with a 12-6 victory at Halifax.
Tries by Rob Massam and Mark Offerdahl saw Clive Griffiths's side bounce back following a heavy defeat to Sheffield Eagles on Monday.
South Wales Scorpions lost 20-6 at home to Championship 1 leaders Hunslet Hawks.
Jordan Sheridan scored the only try for Scorpions, who remain bottom.
