Jamie Donaldson wins Welsh golf award for fourth consecutive time
Jamie Donaldson has been named 2014 Welsh Tour Professional of the Year by the Golf Union of Wales after clinching the Ryder Cup for Europe in September.
The Pontypridd player, 39, who also won the Czech Masters in August, claimed the award for the fourth time running.
"We are all extremely proud of his efforts," said Golf Union of Wales chief Richard Dixon.
Dixon also paid tribute to Amy Boulden, who won Rookie of the Year on the Ladies European Tour in December.
Ryder Cup rookie Donaldson beat Keegan Bradley 4&3 to help Europe win the 40th Ryder Cup 16½-11½ against the United States at Gleneagles.
Boulden, 21, won Rookie of the Year after finishing in joint-24th place at the Dubai Masters.
The Llandudno-born player claimed her first professional title in May and also competed at the US Women's Open and the British Open this year.
