Australian Richie Porte will lead Team Sky for the Tour Down Under in a team which includes Welsh cyclists Geraint Thomas and Luke Rowe.
Porte won the race's queen stage on Old Willunga Hill last year as he finished fourth overall.
Commonwealth Games road race champion Thomas and Chris Sutton are also former stage winners in Australia.
"This race is one of the highlights of my season," Porte told Team Sky's official website.
"The support we receive at the Tour Down Under is unbelievable."
British champion Pete Kennaugh and Salvatore Puccio will make their Tour Down Under debuts for the team, with Rowe and Ian Stannard completing the seven-man squad.
