Welsh gymnastics clubs awarded disability funding

Welsh Gymnastics will give extra funds to 14 clubs to allow them to provide better disability gymnastics sessions.
The Welsh Gym for All project invited applications from gymnastics clubs across Wales for a share of the pot.
Welsh Gymnastics secured £9106 from Sport Wales in June as part of the Kick Start Equality and Human Rights Funding which the 14 clubs will share in.
The money will help the chosen clubs to build their infrastructure and raise awareness surrounding inclusivity.
The funding will also be used to deliver courses to develop teachers and coaches in schools and clubs.
A voucher scheme will also be introduced to all individuals entered into the Welsh School's Gymnastics Disability Competition, which will take place in February 2016.
With the vouchers, all disability gymnasts will be entitled to a free taster session at one of the clubs involved in the Welsh Gym for All project.
