Wales' trio of golfers at the Women's British Open struggled to make an impact as South Korea's Mirim Lee hit a course record 62 to lead on -10.

Amy Boulden was the best of the Welsh, notching 16 consecutive pars before a bogey and birdie on the 17th and 18th.

Lydia Hall finished +1 in spite of five birdies while Becky Morgan came in on +2 with three bogeys on her card.

"I'm just a little bit disappointed, I had a couple of three putts out there which is poor," said Hall.

"I had a good start and got to two under - one under through the back nine - but just started to lose my swing.

"I'm happy not to be too far off - well, 10 under is incredible - so slightly satisfied, but a little bit disappointed as well."
