Spanish KS2: Introductions in Spanish

British school girl Ashleigh meets some Spanish children via a tablet for a Spanish lesson. They give basic information about themselves before going to a café to eat churros y chocolate.

Teacher Notes

Pupils could work in pairs or small groups to practice asking and responding to questions. They could then take on a new identity, perhaps a superhero or famous person.

This clip could be used to play a game of Hot/Cold using the phrases Hace frío (it’s cold) and Hace calor (it’s hot) or as a class make a list of typical Spanish food like churros, and another of typical British food.

Curriculum Notes

This clip is suitable for teaching Key Stage 2, Level 2, or beginners in Spanish of any age.
