Watch again: Are we teaching children enough about climate change?

Re-watch the discussion on teaching children about environmental protection

Children and young people across the globe have been campaigning for action on climate change, with strikes in the UK taking place in more than 60 towns and cities with an estimated 15,000 taking part.

A key demand of the strikes is for the national curriculum to include “the ecological crisis”. So what do you think? Are we teaching children enough about climate change and the environment?

Guests sharing their ideas and giving tips for your classroom are: Dr. Leigh Hoath, Senior Lecturer at the Institute of Childhood and Education; Sarah Eames, Primary Science Teacher College Fellow and Primary Science Quality Mark Hub Fellow; Dr. Hannah-Lee Chalk, Earth Scientist and Learning Manager at the Manchester Museum.
