People in Mexico, South Korea and Chile are among the hardest workers in the world, according to data compiled by the Organisation for Economic Co-Operation and Development in 2012. The OECD tracks various data for about 34 countries.

In the UK, 40% of employees say they are are working harder than they did a year ago and 53% admit they have to do the job of more than one person, according to recruitment and job consulting firm Randstad, in 2013.
